Job Description:
Consider being a member of the highly regarded Drobo - SW QA team to be a part of keeping Drobo’s high quality standards a strong benefit of our product offering. Work closely with development and product management to design, test and automate in a fun, storage filled environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Design, code, and execute tests in Perl and C++ for embedded storage systems.
  
• Design, document and execute test automation strategies.
• Provide regular reporting and metrics for constant improvement.
• Participate in product requirements and other documentation reviews to extract test scenarios.
• Create scripts, test sequences and manual procedures to ensure proper coverage.
• Work closely with Development and other organizations in the company to promote software quality standards.
• Work closely with Customer Support to replicate customer issues and product field use cases.

Job Requirements:

• BS in Computer Science required at a minimum, MS preferred.
• 5+ years experience testing software in a structured setting.
• 5+ years experience writing scripts in Perl.
• 5+ years experience testing storage systems.
• 5+ years experience testing embedded, real-time systems.
• Knowledge of best practices for the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Strong desire to continually improve process.
• Able to effectively organize and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Able to interact creatively and achieve results in a dynamic small company environment.
